Share large project files securely
Private by default. Public only for as long as needed.
Project files can be too large for email. Shareable files keep the original in private storage while giving your team a simple way to create a temporary or non-expiring download link.
Large uploads skip the application server
Files upload directly from the browser to private storage through a short-lived secure request. The application confirms that the file arrived with the expected size before it appears as ready, so large uploads do not have to travel through the application server.
Public access on your terms
Choose whether a link should never expire or work for fifteen minutes, one hour, one day, seven days or thirty days, and optionally protect it with a password. Tickably checks temporary deadlines on every request. Each generated secure download URL remains short-lived, including for non-expiring public links.
Kept inside the project
Project admins enable the feature when it is useful and choose whether admins, users, clients or any combination can access it. Selected roles can upload, download, share and delete files. Disabling the feature leaves existing objects in storage but closes access until it is enabled again.
Preview images and videos
Supported images appear directly on the shared-file page and open fullscreen when clicked. Close the image with Escape, the close button or a click outside it. Videos have built-in playback controls. Downloads remain available for every file. Password-protected shares only show media after unlocking; preview links follow the same expiry limits as downloads.

Frequently asked questions
Does making a link public expose the stored file?
No. The stored file remains private. Tickably validates the public token and any expiry before issuing a short-lived secure download URL.
What happens after the selected time?
The public route stops returning the file immediately. Any secure download URL it issued is capped to that same remaining lifetime.
