Public helpdesk intake without accounts

One clear door in. One private link back.

Not every reporter should need a seat, invitation or password before telling you something is wrong. Enable a helpdesk on a project and share its readable URL. People leave their name, email, subject and details, with optional files, and the request lands directly among your normal tickets.

Private tracking by email

Every reporter receives a confirmation email with a private tracking link. The link opens that request only: its current public status, description, team replies and files. No Tickably account is required.

Public milestones, internal workflow

Project admins choose which internal states become public milestones and give each one a reporter-friendly label. Internal steps between those milestones stay internal while the reporter keeps seeing the last clear public state.

Visible inside the real board

Helpdesk requests are normal project tickets, marked clearly with a Helpdesk badge. Filter the board by source to separate public requests from member-created work, then assign, prioritise and reply with the same workflow your team already uses.

Frequently asked questions

Does a reporter need a Tickably account?

No. Their private email link is enough to follow the request.

Can reporters see every internal state?

Only the milestones you select. Other internal workflow states remain hidden and keep the previous public label.
